Lebanese manoushe. It’s like your favourite pizza, only better.

Newly added to our menu – and served hot out of the oven – our stone-baked Lebanese flatbreads and manoushe are a little like your favourite pizza, only better. And now they’re in Fitzrovia.

A manoushe (and when you’re having more than one, manakeesh) is a specific type of Lebanese flatbread and part of Lebanon's eternal magic. Known for their often breakfast-style toppings - most commonly za'atar mixed with olive oil, cheese, or labneh - they are baked until crisp yet chewy.

Every baker stands behind their dough recipe, usually one handed down through generations. We’re no different here at The High Llama. Our manakeesh are pillowy, comforting, and spiced with our favourite Levantine spices. A true taste of Lebanese street food.

Choose from: Zaatar manoushe; Akkawi cheese manoushe; Nos/nos (half zaatar half cheese); Chicken Shawarma flatbread w/pickles and garlic toum sauce; Halloumi spiced Mhammara Aubergine flatbread; Kafta w/cheese and roasted tomato; Aleppo Chilli Falafel w/tarator tahini sauce.

Baked and served – dine-in and to-go – at our bakery on Riding House Street in Fitzrovia between 11 am and 3 pm from Monday to Friday, our manakeesh make the perfect start to (and continuation of) any day.
