Breakfast at The High Llama
Flat white, buttery Lebanese-inspired pastries, and manakeesh. How else would you start your day?
The Taste of Lebanon for Breakfast
Breakfast at The High Llama is rooted in our Lebanese heritage, and nowhere is this more evident than in our traditional manoushe.
Often described as Lebanon's favourite breakfast, manoushe is a freshly baked flatbread that has been enjoyed for generations. Simple, comforting, and packed with flavour, it's the kind of food that brings people together around the table.
Our zaatar manoushe is a true classic. Freshly baked and topped with fragrant zaatar—a traditional blend of wild thyme, sumac, sesame seeds, and olive oil—it offers an unmistakably Lebanese flavour that is both earthy and vibrant.
For those looking for something even more indulgent, our Nos/Nos Manoushe combines aromatic zaatar with creamy, spicy Akkawi cheese, creating the perfect balance of savoury herbs and rich, melted cheese. This much-loved combination has long been a breakfast staple across Lebanon and remains one of our most popular morning dishes.
Fresh from the oven and served warm, our manakeesh offer a breakfast experience that's impossible to find anywhere else in Fitzrovia.
Organic Coffee Worth Waking Up For
No breakfast is complete without exceptional coffee.
At The High Llama, we proudly serve Extract Coffee Roaster’s organic coffee, carefully selected for its quality, flavour, and sustainability. Every cup is prepared by baristas who understand that great coffee deserves the same attention to detail as great food.
Whether your favourite is a silky flat white, rich espresso, creamy cappuccino, or perfectly balanced latte, our organic coffee pairs beautifully with both our pastries and our Lebanese breakfast dishes.
For many of our regular guests, breakfast begins with the coffee and ends with discovering something new from our bakery or brunch menu.
